Experience of MS Dhoni should not be underestimated, quotes Michael Clarke

Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been one of the greatest pillars of the Indian cricket team and is certainly the best to have ever graced the sport. It is cognisance of the fact that MS Dhoni is the experienced person than anyone else in the dressing room. The former Aussie skipper and current commentator said that MS Dhoni’s experience should not be taken lightly.

Team India are currently leading the ongoing ODI series 3-0 over the depleted Aussies and are on the verge of making it a bluewash unless Aussies don’t sort out their woes. So far, we have seen the current and former captain making field placements in core part of the game. MS Dhoni nurtured Virat Kohli quite well and the results of the game would give us a better clarity.

“Experience of MS Dhoni should not be underestimated, not only in regards to Virat and the rest of the team,” Michael Clarke said while speaking to India Today. Talking about the Indian skipper Virat Kohli, he has done a phenomenal job so far ever since taking over the mantle from MS Dhoni.

An artistic sense of aggressive approach was instilled in the team that paved way for the slick passage of play which did a world of good. “He (Virat Kohli) is aggressive and he probably has a team now that is really following his leadership style and there are a number of players that have been looking for that aggressive approach,” Clarke said.

A series win over Aussies is something great to be noted in Kohli’s dairy. India have never whitewashed Aussies in a bilateral ODI series and two more venomous strikes would do good for India but not for the Aussies.
